The compactor mounted, two or three axle “Super Titan” semi-trailer represents an interesting solution regarding the long distance transfer of waste streams collected in urban areas. In this configuration, the “Super Titan” represents a typical mothership vehicle, able to accept the transfer of waste material from smaller satellite vehicles (mainly mini compactors) for the transfer up to the final disposal of the waste, (landfill-incinerator-treatment plant). The compactor is equipped with its own auxiliary engine power source with loading hopper of large dimensions and highly efficient compaction system. The material transferred from a satellite vehicle means the bulking up of volume waste and payload and maximises performance and efficiency to the final destination, by using less vehicle movements. The Super Titan semi-trailer works in conjunction with a two or three axle tractor unit. GVW can be up to 44 t.
