Currently these solutions focus on an electric PTO developed directly by Farid and customisable for many vehicles in its range. This enables it to tailor some functions (bin lift elevation and compaction, or, only bin lift elevation) in fully electric mode, reducing emissions (exhaust, nano particles, particulate matter and noise). The energy used by the vehicle for its operational functions is not provided by an engine, but is stored in a battery pack located on the compactor and charged directly in a specific re-charging station, located in the storage location of the vehicle.
