Palvi – Dule System

At the heart of the DuleSystem solution is the ALPA lifting unit, which provides a fully automated system for container pick-up, emptying and repositioning. The ALPA unit can be operated automatically by the driver and rotated around its own axis, allowing containers to be serviced from either side of the vehicle.

The operator only needs to position the collection vehicle alongside the container and initiate the lifting cycle. The entire approach manoeuvre towards the container lifting mushroom is automated. Final positioning close to the lifting point remains manually controlled, although fully assisted by the camera system and guidance markers displayed on the monitor. As an option, this phase can also be fully automated through the CPD system, which detects and identifies the lifting mushroom automatically.

The orthogonal lifting system raises the container in a perfectly vertical path, preventing damage to the container itself or surrounding street infrastructure and ensuring highly accurate repositioning after emptying. The integrated camera system assists vehicle positioning relative to the container and enables the operator to monitor the entire cycle in complete safety. Special monitoring and control devices have been developed and patented to manage any road condition and container positioning scenario, including automatic levelling, control of the relative inclination between the container and the collection vehicle, monitoring of clamp loads, and verification of correct engagement with the lifting mushroom.

The ALPA lifting device can be combined with a fixed compactor, a detachable compactor, or a simple open-top body. The detachable version offers significant operational advantages by allowing full compactors to be dropped off and replaced with empty units, thereby maximizing collection efficiency. It also enables interchangeability with a container-washing module, creating a fully integrated waste management system.
All fixed and detachable compactor configurations are equipped with an automatic top loading aperture cover, synchronized with the container emptying cycle to ensure safe and clean operation.

Orthogonal Lifting System

The ALPA12 performs strictly orthogonal movements, ensuring perfectly vertical container extraction and repositioning.

Dual grab

The only grab available on the market capable of handling both F90 and Kinshofer lifting-interface containers without any mechanical adaptation or operator intervention. Patented.

Side switching

The ALPA system automatically handles containers positioned on either side of the vehicle, even when the grab is parked on the opposite side. The transfer from one side to the other is performed directly, without the need to return through the central position or to pre-position the lifting system on the side where the container is located.

Vertical movements

Thanks to its perfectly orthogonal lifting kinematics, the ALPA system ensures true vertical container handling. This allows containers to be picked up even when positioned close to parked vehicles, walls or fences, eliminating the risk of swinging movements and preventing damage to both the containers and surrounding infrastructure.

Double-Row Collection

The system automatically handles containers, including underground containers, even when they are positioned in double-row configurations.

Slope Compensation

Thanks to its patented self-levelling systems, the ALPA unit can easily handle container pick-up operations even on roads with significant gradients.
