A new investment in technology, quality and sustainability to strengthen production processes at the Vinovo manufacturing facility.

On 16 October, Farid officially opened its new painting and sandblasting facility at its Vinovo site. The investment reflects the company’s decision to bring a strategically important production process in-house and consolidate it within a single facility.

The new facility introduces a high level of automation across various stages of production, from sandblasting to component handling, supported by digital production management systems. The aim is to improve the quality of surface finishes and corrosion resistance, while making the entire process more efficient and reducing processing times.

The investment also places particular emphasis on sustainability and working conditions. The new technologies help reduce resource consumption and environmental impact while improving operator safety and ergonomics. In particular, the new process reduces electricity consumption by 19% per unit of paint product applied.

The inauguration also provided an opportunity for dialogue and engagement with institutions and the local community, bringing together representatives from national, regional and local authorities, as well as businesses, trade unions, customers, partners and employees.

With this investment, Farid continues to improve and modernise its production processes, combining technology, quality, efficiency and sustainability to support the company’s future growth.
